Welcome to this web-site celebrating the 1960s newspaper comic Modesty
Blaise. Here you will find art on display from my collection of original newspaper comic strips by British artist Jim
Holdaway. Peter O'Donnell created Modesty Blaise in the 1960s, first appearing as a newspaper comic and later in the
form of novels. Jim Holdaway was responsible for the artwork from the inception until his death in 1970. Jim
Holdaway and Peter O'Donnell is regarded as one of the best writer/artist collaborations ever. I say 'is',
because these stories are still being reprinted all over of the world, and are as exiting today as when they
first appeared some 30 years ago.
I try to update the site from time to time, so check back
now and again to see new original art on display. You will find my contact details on the last page.
